Selena Gomez's weekend appearance at a Santa Monica mall was rescheduled after the teenage star checked into a hospital earlier in the week

The move came as Gomez, 18, apparently remained at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank after she became ill Thursday following a taping of NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
A source told HollywoodLife.com Gomez checked in under an assumed name and was undergoing tests, but offered no details on her condition.
The hospital and Gomez's representative shed no light on Gomez's condition.
