Monica's Down To Earth Approach to Friendship And Love

Monica recently sat down with Honey mag to discuss everything from friendship to possibly dating again. Monica who is set to be Tiny's bridesmaid in her upcoming wedding to T.I does not look kindly to the term "BFF" being used to describe their friendship saying, "Bff is almost just somebody you hang out with for the moment.  We are long-term friends...our friendship is far beyond taking a couple paparazzi pictures and using the bff terminology."

When it comes to dating Monica is just as cautious.

You recently broke up with your fiance of ten years.  Do you think you will date again?
"When you spend almost a decade with one person its kind of hard to get your heart back opened up that particular way.  But maybe when that time comes, I don't know who the person would be that I would date at that time.  But I'm not against any type of person or profession."

When it comes to loud mouth talk show queen Wendy Williams, Monica makes a point to call Wendy up on her cell phone to clear out any and all rumors that flare up!!

You were recently on the Wendy Williams show.  We're sure you remember Wendy from earlier times.  Are you a fan?
"We have a really good relationship and it makes for a really good interview.  It was so much fun.  We sat down and had a real girls chat.  I think what Wendy always loved about me was anytime some information was wrong - when other artists were running from her because they were afraid of what she may ask - I was calling her up [on her] cell phone, hot line, whatever."
